Enter TikTok's official creator dashboard and filter by your country and niche. Look for sounds or hashtags with a sharp upward arrow but total video count still below 20,000 — that is the golden timing.
2. Trend-setter accounts
Follow 10-15 accounts in your niche in markets that lead yours (US or East Asia). Trends take 4-7 days to migrate to other regions — spotting them there first makes you the trend leader locally when the wave arrives.
3. Sound icon inspection
When you spot an ordinary video with a clever idea, tap the sound icon and check the numbers. Under 5,000 videos + the last 10 videos using that sound all performed above their accounts' average = hidden distribution energy in the algorithm's current code. Create it immediately.
