There is no single input that works everywhere, and the reason is practical. Videos and Reels have a permanent link; Stories and Live broadcasts do not. That is why some services ask for a username instead of a URL.

These are two different promises, and conflating them causes most of the confusion around views orders:
Completion depends on three things together: the service you chose, the size of your order, and that service's daily speed. A 500,000-view order on a service that delivers 50,000 per day will not finish in the same window as a 5,000-view order on the same service, even though both start at the same time.
Views services work against content that can be reached, so the account and the content must stay public for the whole delivery window.
Refill on views services is not a blanket policy. It depends on the service you select: compensation applies only where a service explicitly states it in its own name or description. If a service does not state it, do not assume it exists.
For transparency: many views services in the current list explicitly state that no compensation is included, and many carry no compensation label at all; a written compensation window is the exception, not the rule. Read the label inside the service before ordering and rely on that label alone. There is no general guarantee that a view count will hold.
Cancellation is available on eligible orders. A Cancel button appears after the order is submitted, and cancellation is possible where that Cancel option appears. Not every service or order is cancellable, so the presence of the option on your own order is what governs.

The defining difference is that Story content is temporary. It disappears after 24 hours and has no permanent link the way a post does. That is exactly why ordering works differently: most services that deliver Instagram Story views ask for the username only, while some ask for the Story URL and one asks for the profile URL in a specific format.

The text states that creators and publishers "can only monetize content consumed by their natural, authentic audience", and that they may lose the ability to monetize "if their audience significantly consists of fake engagement".
In practice that means purchased views do not guarantee monetization, should not be treated as consumption by a natural or authentic audience in the sense the policy intends, and that inauthentic engagement can affect monetization eligibility.
